As you’ll recall, we recently introduced new formats for AdSense ads. This week, we’ve added a new dimension for publishers in customizing these ad formats. You’ve long been able to customize the size and colors of your ad units; now, you can also customize the shape by selecting between square, slightly rounded, or very rounded corners. (more…)

Building a web application that employs AJAX is more difficult than building it the classic way. You need to go to extra lengths to make sure that the user experience is and remains enjoyable, and not plain annoying. With all the hype going around AJAX, a lot of applications that do not have a real need for it have been built. These are toys meant to prove that AJAX is fun, but with little or no use in real-life situations. At the same time, some applications that do not use AJAX are labeled as such. Well I was working on internet for more than 3 years but haven’t heard or seen any word “Fusker” before. But some time back I accidentally stopped by the word Fusker. Fusker is a web technology which identify a range of data (known as fusker url) through a script and outputs it on web page. That data may include images, mp3s, videos, and so on. (more…)

Introduction
Websites today are more complex than ever, containing a lot of dynamic content making the experience for the user more enjoyable. Dynamic content is achieved through the use of web applications which can deliver different output to a user depending on their settings and needs. Dynamic websites suffer from a threat that static websites don’t, called “Cross Site Scripting” (or XSS dubbed by other security professionals). Currently small informational tidbits about Cross Site Scripting holes exist but none really explain them to an average person or administrator. This FAQ was written to provide a better understanding of this emerging threat, and to give guidance on detection and prevention.
